Today's children and young people need to have the full knowledge of patriotism, values, morality, honesty, devotion, information technology, science, sports and literary-culture in order to become eligible citizens of Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Shishu Academy has many programs in various branches of culture including art and literature for music and intellectualization of children.
Bangladesh Shishu Academy is the only national institution for cultural and psychological development of children. Basic activities of the Shishu Academy are run from the central unit. The same program is followed in all districts, including the central office.There is a managing committee headed by the Deputy Commissioner for the smooth management of the district branches.There is a local committee headed by the Upazila Nirbahi Officer to conduct children's activities in every upazila.Thus, it is possible to introduce an effective process to bring all the children of the country under the academy
